Crispy Onions

Makes: 2 cups





  1. Fill fryer one third full with canola oil bring heat to 350°F.
  2. Place the flour in a large bowl with the onions and toss to coat well.
  3. Transfer coated onions to a sifter and shake off excess flour.
  4. Add the coated onions to the hot oil and fry until golden brown about 3-5 minutes.
  5. Transfer crispy onions to a tray lined with paper towels to drain.
  6. Season with salt and serve hot.
